Our trainings each include two modules:
Didactic: A comprehensive, interactive overview of each modality including physiology, contraindications, pre- and post-treatment care, technique, complimentary services and treatments, and client safety delivered in-person or via live video conferencing.
Clinical: In-person, hands-on training utilizing live models to utilize and develop the techniques learned in the didactic under the expert guidance of our trainer.

SKINCARE BOOTCAMP
This full-day course is ideal for the student wanting a comprehensive overview of aesthetic skin care combined with hands-on practical training on live-models. Topics covered in this course include:

MICRONEEDLING
In this class you will learn how medical grade Microneedling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), significantly and quickly improves the appearance, texture, and tone of your client’s skin, and effectively resolves specific issues including scar remediation, with little downtime or discomfort. As a stand-alone treatment or when incorporating Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) to enhance effectiveness and healing time, microneedling is a well-recognized, in-demand, proven treatment. We designed our microneedling class for medical professionals and licensed clinical aestheticians given the skin depths being treated require specialized licensing in most states. After classroom training you will receive expert, hands-on training to apply what you have learned on live models.

DERMAPLANING
This class will introduce you Dermaplaning and prepare you to offer this effective manual exfoliation technique to your clients! Dermaplaning is an excellent stand-alone service which has few contraindications and immediately improves skin texture and tone. More importantly dermaplaning is a value-added treatment which enhances the effectiveness of deeper-penetrating modalities including IPL, chemical peels, and hydra-dermabrasion, and it enhances the effectiveness of your client’s investment in retail skin care products, making it a perfect ad-on service! You will learn dermaplaning technique, how this treatment compliments other modalities, and then apply what you’ve learned via a practicum on live models, enabling you to immediately incorporate dermaplaning into your business.

MEDICAL GRADE CHEMICAL PEELS
This class is designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to medical-grade Chemical Peels, one of the most sought after medical-grade treatments in esthetics. Why are chemical peels so popular? Because they are an effective, proven treatment which have been used to significantly improve skin tone, texture, and remediate the signs of aging for many years by clients just like yours! While medical-grade chemical peels are familiar they are also constantly evolving, yielding greater flexibility and treatment options for clients and esthetic providers. Our class is specifically designed for medical providers and clinical estheticians given the treatments typically require specialized licensing in most states. Our classroom training prepares you for our hands-on practical training on live models.

HYDRA-DERMABRASION
This class will prepare you to provide Hydra-Dermabrasion treatments to your clients. Hydra-Dermabrasion is a relatively recent development and has proven to be extremely popular with esthetics clients. This treatment provides non-invasive, non-chemical, manual exfoliation which integrates extraction and deep cleansing, and delivers serum-based hydration specific to patient conditions, all in a single treatment with few contraindications and no down time. And it improves the effectiveness of retail skin care products. Yes, it’s amazing! This course will provide an overview of hydra-dermabrasion, a comparison of the two industry-leading hydra-dermabrasion devices, and technique, followed by hands-on training utilizing the DiamondGlow® device on live models.

INTENSE PULSED LIGHT (IPL)
In this class you will receive a comprehensive overview of the multiple treatments that utilize Intense Pulsed Light, or IPL, devices. IPL devices are not lasers, but do utilize focused, intense bursts of broad-spectrum light to treat a wide range of skin conditions including multiple types of vascular lesions (spider telangiectasis, angiomas, broken capillaries, rosacea, acne scars, etc.), age spots and sun damage, lines and wrinkles, and removal of deeply pigmented hair. Because of the broad range of conditions IPLs effectively address, the limited contraindications and typically limited downtime IPL treatments are an essential offering for any provider! For these reasons IPL devices are often the first device acquired by new providers. We designed our IPL training for medical providers and clinical estheticians given the treatments typically require specialized licensing in most states. Our classroom training prepares you for our hands-on practical training on live models.

THERMOLYSIS
This class will prepare you to offer Thermolysis as a stand-alone treatment or as a value-added spot treatment for your clients. Thermolysis is used to effectively treat a very broad range of common skin conditions, is minimally invasive, has few contraindications and typically requires little or no downtime. The typical thermolysis client will be seeing you for a broader skin-care regimen, but will present with imperfections like age spots, spider veins, milia and skin tags that may be untouched by other treatments making thermolysis an ideal complement to your portfolio of treatment options. You will learn the multiple conditions treated with thermolysis, treatment technique and protocols, then develop your skills and technique on live models utilizing the industry-leading ThermoClear Pro device.
